Ocean Park Retreat Center and Camp is located on 80 beautiful acres of evergreen forest, sand dunes, and ocean beach on the Long Beach Peninsula in southwest Washington State near the mouth of the Columbia River. Though serene and secluded with 2000 feet of Pacific Ocean beach frontage, major metropolitan areas are in easy driving distance: Vancouver, Seattle, and Tacoma, Washington and Portland, Oregon are 2 ½ - 4 hours away.
We host non-profit groups for meetings, conferences, retreats, recreation, or spiritual renewal. Summer camps for children, youth, and adults provide fun, learning opportunities, and relationship-building experiences. The thousands who visit us each year enjoy friendly hospitality, quality lodging, and delicious meals in a beautiful, relaxed atmosphere.
Our lodging buildings have a total of 230 beds. The RV Park has 15 spaces with electric and water hook-ups and a dump station. Tent camping is also available.
We feature a system of nature trails, a three-acre sports field, kayaking, archery, and the Screamer, a 550 foot long zip line. Sand volleyball is very popular, along with full-court basketball, tennis, and regular volleyball in the Jean Sampson Outdoor Activity Center.
The Long Beach Peninsula provides a variety of exciting attractions within a short drive of the Retreat Center. Numerous Lewis and Clark sites invite exploration, and lighthouses, Willapa Bay, river towns of Ilwaco and Astoria, and the tourist town of Long Beach beckon. A multitude of festivals, galleries, museums, and shops are here to enjoy.
We are owned by the Pacific Northwest Conference of the United Methodist Church.
